Brian discusses why it could be handy to use the mouse in blind accessible games.
He includes three small downloadable examples.
Fireman.
You catch jumping people in your net at the bottom of a burning building using your mouse.
Sword.
In this game you are fighting an enemy using the mouse to swing your sword.
The longer you survive, the faster the
enemy will get.
Gestures.
You are attacked by ogres and imps and must combat them with two spells.
These spells are cast by performing various gestures, and variations of
these gestures using your mouse.

You'll have to have fast reflexes to guard those goals and make some yourself.

You'll be told if your guess is too high or too low.

Judgment Day allows you to use your mouse.
The j key, or left arrow, or moving your mouse left, moves your gun left.
The l key, or right arrow, or moving your mouse right, moves your gun to the right.
The control key or left mouse button fires your gun.

A futuristic racing
simulation for the visually impaired.
Your Rail Racer can be controlled using the mouse, keyboard or joystick.
You race against an artificially intelligent racer named Art and
have jump jets to get you over hurdles.
The demo includes two tracks for you to race on, but does not allow the multiplayer racing of the full version,
nor can you post your times and money to
the web.

The Underwater game loads into memory and does not have an install,
so I needed to wait about two minutes for the game to start playing.

Audio Joust
A free flash based game where you take on the role of king Arthur’s champion.
You have been challenged by five knights to a joust tournament.
Armed with your mouse and keyboard you will have to knock your opponents down from their horses.
But don’t fear, for you shall not be alone… with the help of the crowd you can defeat these five challengers.

Big Cahuna
Catch all kinds of fish within the time limit and score as many points as you can.
Click on the left mouse button to cast your rod into the water.
When you got a bite, repeatively press spacebar to reel in the fish.
The escape function does not work yet, so close the game you would do with an ordinary window.

Underwater
In this audiogame you command a submarine and are exploring the deep sea.
With your sonar you navigate, and locate treasures.
Use the mouse or the arrow keys to move to the left and right.
Press the right mouse or forward arrow key to move forward.
Press the left mouse or spacebar to use your sonar.
Now listen carefully!
When you hear a low ping back, it means there is a wall. When you hear a high ping back, it means there's treasure!
When you get near a treasure you will hear it tinkle. Find them all and dive deeper in to the sea!
But be warned... There are rumors of sea mines in the sea.
Some say you only hear them by a beeping sound... so watch out!
Press B to turn visual help on/off.
There are five different levels to play.
